FAQs

Q. What is the Session Fee for?

A. The Session Fee pays for your time with the photographer and other staff that assist you throughout your appointment. It also covers the software and other processing costs to get the images ready for the yearbook publisher.

Q. Does the Session Fee apply to my order?

A. No. However, as an incentive to the Seniors that have their pictures made during the month of June, you will receive a 24 Wallet Special FREE!

Q. Must I order the same day as my Session? Do you offer Specials?

A. It is not required that you order on your session day, however there are incentives if you do. Session Day Specials: 10% off our package prices, a free unit added to your package and a free CD of all purchased images to be used for myspace, facebook. screen savers, etc. (lower quality and not for print). Ezell's Studios maintains the copyrights to all images. Any printing, copying, scanning, or modifying of any image is strictly prohibited under Federal Copyright Laws.

Q. Can I order more prints at a later date?

A. You can always order more prints later. We guarantee to have them for at least 2 years. The prices do not change until graduation day. After that the cost is subject to change.

Q. What is the difference between a Basic and Deluxe sitting?

A. The Basic Sitting is $20.00 and includes the formal drape/tux and several poses in the casual outfit you wear to the studio. Your session lasts approximately 15 minutes.
The Deluxe Sitting is $30.00 and includes the formal drape/tux and up to 3 outfits of your choice on a variety of backgrounds. Your session lasts approximately  45 minutes.

Q. When do I get to see my portraits?

A. Shortly after the photographer is finished taking your pictures, your assistant will show you your digital portraits on a computer monitor. At this time you MUST chose which pictures you want to go in the yearbook. You may also decide if you would like to order prints at this time. Please remember to allow 15 minutes to an hour to view and order your portraits.

Q. Do you have proofs?

A. No. The digital-age is upon us, thus in with the new and out with the old! Film and printed proofs are a costly thing of the past. We are strictly digital now and are able to show you your pictures on the computer.

Q. How do I have my images put online and how long are they up?

A. We will put your images online for 6 weeks in a private, password protected gallery for $8.00.

Q. What do I wear?

A. Be yourself! We recommend that you wear clothes that make you feel comfortable. Although we do suggest you to stay away from small stripes as they do not photograph well. And remember, although we encourage you to be stylish, you will be looking at these pictures for generations to come, so bring at least one outfit that is classic and will look good no matter what fad is in this year.

If you are coming for a deluxe session try to bring different looks. For example (1) Jeans, (2) Dressy, (3) Fun. Remember that you will have some full length shots so your feet will show.

Barefoot is fine for girls with jeans or shorts. Pay attention to your fingernails also. If you are a manicure/pedicure kind of girl - schedule yours the day before your session.

If you have a letter jacket, we've found that a plain white tank (girls) or T-shirt (guys) looks best underneath.

Q. Do you have someone to do my hair and makeup?

A. No, we do not. Please come prepared to your appointment. We have spacious dressing rooms available. If you must do your hair and makeup here, please come early so we can start pictures at your scheduled time. If you are not ready, we may be forced to reschedule. Keep in mind that the day before your appointment is not the time to try a new hair cut or color. Stay with what you know looks good and with what you are comfortable.

Q. How long does it take to get my prints?

A. Your order will be ready in approximately 10-14 business days. We will call you when they are ready to pick-up.

Q. When do I have to pay?

A. The Session Fee is due on the appointment day. If you place an order for prints, we require a deposit of 50%. The balance is due when you pick up your order in 10-14 days.

Q. Can I be photographed with a pet, friend, boyfriend, or family member?

A. Yes. We would be happy to photograph you with someone else. We encourage you to make your portraits special with those important people or cuddly creatures!

Q. How much are your packages?

A. Please see our PRICES link under the Seniors gallery.

Q. How do I schedule an appointment?

A. Click on SCHEDULE AN APPT under the Seniors gallery and follow the onscreen instructions. We will accept appointment requests starting in early May. We will contact you either by email or phone to confirm the time. If you prefer, call our office at 770-918-1198 to schedule and ask any questions.

Q. What is the deadline to have my pictures taken?

A. Please make sure you have these important portraits taken before you start your Senior year. This will insure you are in your yearbook.

Q. What happens if I must reschedule or don’t show up to my appointment?

A. If you see that you must reschedule your appointment we ask that you call us as soon as possible. If you reschedule or don't show twice, we will require you to prepay the sitting fee the next time you try to schedule. Please be aware though, that if your appointment was scheduled for the month of June, and you have to reschedule, we can not guarantee that you will be able to get another appointment during this promotional period.

Q. Do I need to bring a parent/guardian with me?

A. Although it is not required to have a parent/guardian with you at your appointment, we strongly urge you to do so. When booking your appointment time, try to schedule it for a time that they can come with you. We have extended hours during the summer to help accommodate most peoples' schedules. It is usually helpful to have them help pick out your yearbook pictures and place an order. You don't want to miss out on our Session Day Specials. If you are coming alone, remember that you will be responsible for paying the sitting fee.

Q. Do I have a choice of photographer?

A. Typically we schedule you with the photographer available at the time you requested. If you have a preference, please feel free to mention this to us, and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Q. Do you retouch my pictures?

A. Yes, we retouch all images that you order. Retouching includes minor blemishes. Extensive acne and tan lines requires additional fees. We are not responsible for removing scars, moles, freckles, or other natural occurrences, unless specifically requested. We offer special effects and graphics applied to your pictures as well. Be sure to ask a sales associate for more information or to see examples.

Q. Can you print my name on my wallets?

A. Yes, we can print your name on wallets or any size print. We have several type styles and examples available from which you can choose. The fee for this service is $8.00 per pose.

Q. Do I need to bring a tux?

A. No, we have several sizes available to accommodate you. Our assistants will help you find the right fit.  Everyone must look the same for the yearbook, so wearing one of our tuxedos is a requirement if you go to Alcovy, Eastside, Heritage or Salem High School. They consist of the coat, shirt and tie only since these are chest up portraits only. If you are interested in having pictures made full length, you may bring your own suit for this purpose. If you are larger than a 52, we need to know when you make your appointment so we can make arrangements to have a tux available for you when you come.

Q. Can I get a CD of my images?

A. Yes, a CD of all images may be purchased for $25.00. If you order a package on the same day of your session, the CD is FREE! Although the images will not be of print quality, you may use them for screensavers, emailing, MySpace, Facebook etc. Ezell's Studios maintains the copyrights to all images. Any printing, copying, scanning, or modifying of any image is strictly prohibited under Federal Copyright Laws.

Q. How many backgrounds will you use?

A. Several backgrounds will be used for each outfit. Our photographers will chose which background to use based on what you wear and what will best compliment you. Feel free to express which backgrounds and poses you like best and the photographer will take them into consideration. Depending on the weather, we may take some outside as well.

Q. How do I get to your studio?

A. We are located at 2009 Iris Drive in Conyers. Please go to the INFO link on our home page and click on CONTACT US for driving directions and a map.

Q. What times are available to schedule my appointment?

A. We book appointments for Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 - 5:00, Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00 - 7:00 and Saturday 9:00 -1:00. If you have a limited schedule, we advise you to book your appointment early to ensure being able to get the time you need. Saturdays and evenings fill up the quickest.

Q. What do I do if I am not happy with my pictures?

A. Our goal at Ezell's Studios is to ensure that you are happy with your pictures and you will be proud to show them off.  If we did not meet your expectations, tell us IMMEDIATELY while still in the studio. We will be happy to retake them until we get what you want. If you wait until after you have left, you will be required to pay an additional sitting fee and no promotional specials will be given.
