Get Eye Level
Direct eye contact in a picture draws you in and makes the subject come to life. When taking a picture of someone, hold the camera at the person's eye level to show off the power of those magnetic gazes and mesmerizing smiles. For children or animals, that means stooping to their level. Even if they don't look directly into the camera, the eye level angle will make the picture more personal and inviting.

I was having a very hard time starting this newsletter today, because of all the activities going on in and around my life and business. So I decided to write about some of the things for which I am thankful.
I am thankful for Sheila, my wife who has supported me 100% since the day we started this business in 1994. I am thankful for the 4 granddaughters we have that make me smile and who keep Sheila young and busy. I am thankful to have an amazing friend, Sandra Griffin, helping me lead this business in the direction it should go. I am thankful for all the dedicated support staff we have that keeps Ezell’s Studios growing. I am thankful for all the people (you) that support us each and every day. I hope we are blessing your life with beautiful pictures or at least pictures that you might not would have gotten without us. Thank you.
It has been said that we keep an attractive staff, which I do not deny. The rising senior guys especially appreciate our staff! I say this for two reasons: 1- To let you know we have just hired our summer staff of 15 girls and are very proud of them. We think a lot of you will see why when you bring your 09 Senior in for senior portraits! 2- We are proud to say that Sarah Adcock was Co-Valedictorian at Salem High School this year and will be attending UGA this fall. This is Sarah’s 2nd summer with us. This proves we do not hire for looks alone! See our staff on our website by clicking here.
For the next 10 weeks we will be mainly concentrating on 2009 seniors and weddings. But we are here for all your photography needs. Don’t forget we will be in Destin, Florida July 2-6 to do family portraits on the beach. We felt like a lot of our customers would love pictures on the beach, but so far we have not received much interest. So call for an appointment soon or this will be our last expensive vacation at the beach!
Don’t forget our number one goal here at Ezell’s Studios is to make you happy and provide you with beautiful and affordable pictures, no matter what the need.
Sincerely,
|

Sarah Adcock Has been working with us for just over a year. She started as an "Ezell's Girl" last May and has become a vital part of our business. Her work ethic and initiative led us to offer her an ongoing job after the summer rush was over. Her responsibilities include everything from answering the phones to running the front desk to helping in the Order Department.
Sarah recently graduated from Salem High School as the Co-Valedictorian. She will be entering the University of Georgia this fall as a pre-pharmacy major. Sarah lives in Conyers with her parents, younger brother and dog Foxie. When she isn't working, she loves to lay out by the pool with her friends.
When asked about the best part of working at Ezell's Studios, she says "the opportunity to make a connection with all kinds of people."
