Use Flash Outdoors
Use the flash on your camera to improve your pictures. Even in bright sunlight, the flash will help to lighten dark shadows under the eyes and nose. This is especially important when the sun is directly overhead or behind your subject. Use the flash on cloudy days to brighten up faces and make them stand out from the background.
Also be aware of your flash range. Pictures taken beyond the maximum flash range will be too dark. For many cameras that’s only ten feet or about four steps away. Happy Shooting! |
Ezell’s Studios has come a long way in 2007. We moved into a studio that is double the size of the last. We are very proud of it and encourage you to visit. I invited a longtime fellow photographer, Jim Wilkinson to spend a day here teaching me more about lighting which he graciously did. Thanks Jim!
In December Sheila, Sandra, Jimmy and I took a trip to Destin, Florida looking for that perfect location for family pictures on the beach and I think we found it. (This was a tough job but someone had to do it!) In January Sandra, Kristen and I went to a photography seminar to learn new techniques and get other ideas. We enjoyed that and learned a lot.
Weddings– we were honored to capture the special day of 19 bride and grooms in 2007. This has become such an enjoyable part of our business. We really look forward to the time we spend with these families. We started off 2008 with Celeste and Daniel and a picture perfect outdoor wedding– in January! Their wedding album will look amazing.
We have such a great staff and have become like family. This is an exciting time as Melissa will be getting married March 10th and Brittany will welcome little Dylan in April. Sheila and I continue to enjoy spending time with our four granddaughters.
I almost forgot– at the end of December we launched our new website. It was truly a group effort and we love it. Visit the site at www.ezellsstudios.com and look around. You will probably see someone you know.
Trying to stay up with the times, we have just become a new member of MySpace! If you would like to be our "Friend", you know what to do. Check it out at www.myspace.com/ezellsstudios.
2008 Seniors– We are running a special until March 15th! Call or come in for details.
We are trying to upgrade everything we do. Our number one goal is to make you happy and meet all your photography needs. Sincerely,
|

Kristen Battaglia Jaynes is our graphic designer who has been working at Ezell’s almost 4 years. She has a commercial photography degree from Gwinnett Technical College. Kristen came to Ezell’s Studios seeking a photography position, but at the time we only needed someone to retouch photos. As time went on, she continued to enjoy the graphic end of photography and has become our full-time graphic designer. Kristen is responsible for designing our bride’s wedding albums (of which she has done over 40). She also does the sports posters, photo restoration, announcements, image enhancements, retouching, and much more.
Kristen is about to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with her wonderful husband, Mark. She is proud to say that 5 cousins are graduating from local high schools this year: Katie Jo Adams, Natalie Battaglia , Mia Mattingly, Kierstie Moon, and Kylee Wauters. Come by to see Kristen for any graphic design needs.
