Autumn is a very busy time of the year for us. During August and September we were finishing Senior portraits, preparing images to be sent for the yearbooks, as well as photographing all the underclass and faculty at 7 schools! It is also a time to take fall sports team and individual pictures and we are at many football, softball and volleyball games. If you have a child or grandchild involved in youth soccer, baseball or softball, we were taking their pictures as well. It is a joy to work with the many volunteers at these organizations as well as the parents and children.
I would like to say Thank You to all of you that pass on encouraging words when you see me around town. The last several weeks have been great for me at the football games. I know the scores weren’t always what you wanted but hopefully the pictures we got helped capture the highlights of the game for you.
Another big blessing for me is the growth and maturity of our Ezell’s Staff. They understand my vision of how a business should be run and seem to embrace it. They continue to take our business to new levels. We could not be where we are today without our wonderful staff. We are very glad to have Stephanie Schmitt back with us for an extended period of time while she attends college in Atlanta. She started as an Ezell’s Girl in 2005 and has returned every year since. Her work ethic and maturity level have made her a vital part of our business.
I am very honored to let you know we will soon start photographing the members of First Baptist Church of Conyers and Crossroads United Methodist Church for their pictorial directories. We will be at the churches with photographers and support staff in the coming weeks. We are also booking for family portraits at Costley Mill the first Saturday of November. If your family hasn’t had a recent portrait, this is a great opportunity that you don’t want to miss. Click here to request an appointment.
Again, thank you for your words of encouragement and continued support.
Sincerely,
|

Sandra Griffin
It is hard to express in words what this lady means to Ezell’s Studios. She and Gary met in the fall of 2002 while she was working on the Heritage football program. He saw her passion for the job, work ethic, people skills and computer knowledge. Gary invited her to work part time updating the website for a few hours a week. That evolved into her now being “The Boss” at Ezell’s Studios. She is Gary’s right hand person with Office Manager as her official title.
Sandra grew up in Conyers and graduated from Rockdale County High School. She has been married to Jimmy for 25 years. Sandra considers her children as her greatest accomplishment. Her daughter, Holli, is a special education teacher in Newton County, and Sandra's son, Joey, is a telecommunications technician for a firm in Atlanta. If you see her out with a precious little blond toddler, he is not her grandchild – he’s her nephew Daegan. She calls him her perfect transition from being a mom to one day becoming a grandma.
Working with the teenagers in the summertime and going to weddings are two of her favorite things about being at Ezell’s. “It is such a blessing to be with a family on wedding day. Everyone is happy and we feel like guests, not a vendor. What could be better?” |
