Engagement Photo Session!

Hey everyone! As promised, here’s the Goofy!photographer’s take on the engagement photos I took a few weeks ago of Vicky and Austin. It was absolutely the greatest day for shooting; an overcast 60 degree day in February. We started in the studio, headed out into Olde Town, and ended at Stone Mountain Park. Even better to have a fun and attractive couple who was willing to try anything. Vicky and Austin were such a pleasure to spend the day with! One of our Ezell’s Girls, McKenzie, also joined us to give a behind the scenes look on our social media accounts.

Since day one of my photography business, relationships with my customers have been my priority, and it has helped me grow my business immensely. My story with Vicky starts 10 years ago. Vicky was a Senior at RCHS, and her mom called me to take her senior pictures. They were so happy with them! After the photos, we lost touch for a few years when Vicky left GA to join the Army. About 3 years ago, we ran into each in Washington, DC. I had traveled to DC with some of Georgia’s WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Veterans with a nationwide program called Honor Flight. This program takes veterans from all Honor Flight!over the country to Washington, DC so they can visit their respective war memorials, as well as Arlington National Cemetery to pay respects to their fallen brothers and sisters. While I was traveling from Conyers with our Veterans, Vicky was waiting to greet us in DC. It was such a surprise to see her there! She was there representing the military and spent the day with us. So many hugs, smiles, and swapping of war stories from one generation to the other. We got to see each other a few more times through Honor Flight, each time making more memories with the Veterans.

Last year, Vicky met Austin and it was pretty much love at first sight. They were both serving in the Army in Baltimore, MD at the time.  When Vicky was in the studio helping with some social media stuff last December, she mentioned I might be getting a call to take some wedding pictures in the future! Well on December 30th Austin pulled out a ring and she said yes!

Our shoot a few weeks ago was so much fun. We used itGoofy!as a learning opportunity for McKenzie, who was Snapchatting and Instagramming the whole thing. That was a first for me, but Vicky and McKenzie knew exactly what they were doing. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat to stay up to date on our studios events!

I absolutely love photographing people that want me and have confidence that I will get what they want. We are all looking forward to her bridal shoot and their wedding in October. I am so looking forward to capturing the memories at the biggest day in Vicky and Austin’s life. If you know me and would like me to photograph your wedding, I would be honored to help capture the memories at the most important day for you! Give the studio a call to set up an appointment!

A Family Affair

At Ezell’s Studios, we’re all about family. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time. We starting photographing their children at a very young age and love to watch them grow.

We are very excited to have the opportunity to photograph the wedding of one such family.  Miss. Michelle Jackson will marry Mr. Terrence Little on Saturday October 25, 2014.

IMG_2849Our relationship with the Jackson family began with Mrs. Jackson, Michelle’s mother who was the assistant principle at Salem High School. Salem High has been one of our many school clients for quite some time. We had the pleasure of photographing Michelle at her prom as well taking her senior portraits.

IMG_2914Our relationship with the Jackson family has continue to grow as we got to know Michelle’s younger sister Layne.  We photographed Layne through high school and her senior portraits as well. Layne is currently one of our Ezell’s Girls.

It is quite an honor to forge such special relationships with our clients. Even more so that they continue to come to us to help capture special life events. We congratulate and offer best wishes to the future Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Little.

Goff Engagement

Kristen is a long time friend and client of Gary’s. He photographed her senior and cheerleading portraits and now photographs her cheerleading squad at Eastside High. They remained in touch for years after she graduated high school, and now she has asked Gary to photograph both her engagements and wedding. Gary is honored and delighted to take part in such a special, significant time in Kristen’s life, and is so excited that she has chosen him to do the honor of capturing her and Kyle’s big day!
